Challenge
Volvo has always been that Swedish car company. But they were looking for ways to be a bit more grounded in Canada.
Insight
Canada and Scandanavia have quite a few similarities.
Idea
Show Canadians that Volvo is the car made for Canada, because it was made Sweden.
Welcome to Candanavia.
Welcome to Candanavia was the first and only Canadian campaign for Volvo. The similarities between Sweden and Canada were clear. We wanted to draw those lines between the two nations to help Volvo become more relevant to Canadians. The campaign lasted 2 years. In that time, we created TV commercials, print and newspaper ads. We brought it to the Toronto Auto Show and all the local dealerships.
