Challenge
The Golden Tap Awards is a yearly event celebrating the best beers, bars and breweries. The event itself is very popular and attracts all the top breweries in Ontario. However, online voter turn-out is lower than it should be.
Insight
Voting is usually a chore. Drinking beer is more fun.
Idea
Voting for beer is the easiest vote you’ll ever make.
2015 – 2017
It’s a simple message. Vote for beer. Out of anything that you vote for, it’s the easiest. Neon is a simple nod to the bars we love. Mixed with a bright and modern design, this campaign really stands out in bars, social and online.
The main website is based completely on the poster design for 2016, 2017. The big "Vote for Beer" callout in neon lights helps push the user down the page to all the important info. I did not give in to fold on this one, instead I wanted it to feel so big that you had to scroll to get it all.
The poster and award both take on the "Vote for Beer" in big neon letters.
2014
The politics of beer drinking is definitely a lot different than government.
For the 2014 event, we decided to show people just why voting for beer is the right choice. These campaign style spots boosted our exposure through all of the Golden Tap social platforms.
The posters and table toppers for 2014. In this campaign we addressed all the reasons why voting for beer was better.
2013
There are no losers in a beer competition. Because it’s still beer.
