My name is Jeremy Lenz. I'm an Art & Creative Director in Toronto. My focus is on memorable creative built on strong insights.

I've had a few twists and turns in my close to 15 year career. I started in graphic design, dabbled in animation and motion design, designed dozens of websites and created award winning campaigns for almost every type of business you can think of. I've worked in several large agencies and even started my own business helping startups and small businesses build their brand. I blame it all on my endless curiousity and passion for great ideas.

All that restlessness has made me who I am. A multi-disciplinary, detail oriented, self starter that's looking for a collaborative group of people that share this weird creative energy. An energy built on talent, empathy and desperate need to know "what's next?".

Big creative thinking. Creative thinking that almost always goes beyond the brief. Thinking that has me working with strategy, developers, project managers, animators, directors, writers, clients, influencers... you name it.

Selling work is a priority. I've focused heavily on building client presentations that sell work and I'm very comfortable presenting in front of clients, CEO's and teammates. I've learned to create protoypes and animatics to help bring an idea to life for presentations. These have worked well in many of the pitches that I've worked on. I've also been involved in creating many case study videos that we use in pitches.

Mentoring. I've spent the last 4 years overseeing work from teams of creatives at all levels. This includes not just reviewing work and helping them sell it, but also working with strategists to make sure the brief has enough to get a team going.

Digital first. I've built dozens of websites and apps. I'm very familiar with digital process, including experience in research involving focus groups, interviews and user testing. I'm familiar with coding, frameworks and platforms and their capabilities and limitations. I'm also used to working with UX designers and developers at every stage of a project.

Execution. Along with digital, I've worked in social, online video, TV, print, OOH, banners, CRM and loyalty. I've created PR pieces and influencer campaigns. I'm very comfortable on set and in the editing suite. I've worked with animators, illustrators, poets, designers, directors, musicians... all of them artists that helped bring great ideas to life.
